You Tell Us: Who Needs The Great Makeunder?

The Great Makeunder

True style should look effortless, even when it’s not. That’s where we come in, because the right cut and color can transform a person’s look for the best. This month, we’re in the mood to give someone a great makeover—actually, a Great Makeunder—and we need your help.

You know you know someone. Does Sue from accounting have a look that’s just not right for her age? Or have you been trying to figure out a tactful way to tell your best friend that you love her, but the over-the-top hair and makeup have to go? Or maybe you're not quite a Glamour Don't, but you're ready for a change and don't know where to start?

Here's your chance. Nominate someone (or yourself!) whose style aches for our services and we’ll give them the Great Makeunder, valued at $260. The winner will receive a cut and color to show off their features in a brand new light—and will feel more fabulous than ever.

How to enter:
Tell us in 250 words or less why your nominee deserves to win. Including a photo is optional but encouraged!

You have until February 10 to get your nominees in, and the winner must be available for stylist services in New York City during the week of February 13 – 17 (that’s just in time to show off their new look during New York Fashion Week February 9 -16!)

May the best (worst?) look win!

  • One winner will be announced on February 11. Total value of the giveaway is $260.
  • The winner will be selected by February 11 and contacted for scheduling. If no response is given by February 13, an alternate winner will be chosen.

Nora my sweetest friend and co worker would definitely need this! She is a gorgeous Ecuadorian and Egyptian mix with the most fabulous thick, wavy gorgeous hair.The Kicker you ask? She spends all this time on her beautiful makeup only to hide her gorgeous hair under a knit "strawberry shortcake" style hat! I think this would help her realize the gem she truly is both inside and out.

My BFF Maria who just moved to Chicago (but visits still all the time) def needs a makeunder! She left NYC and her hairstylist so please help :)
